Kingston Riverside is one my most favourite places to visit in the summer. What: Jackson + Rye brings New York brasserie dining to the streets of the UK, set in the elegant Art Deco Manhattan-style dining rooms at all six restaurants. I really want the overriding feature of this review to be in praise of the service we received while we were there. The menu now features a collection of brasserie dishes inspired by classic French flavours with an American twist, accompanied by signature cocktails and a tailored wine list. Yes, BBQ sauce is a gift from god, but why put in the effort of smoking the pork for 6 hours if that is just going to be smothered with an overpowering flavour that will completely hide that hard work.
